El Globo Oscuro es un proyecto orientado hacia el Rock/Noise/Post Punk fundado por Evelio Gómez (voz, letras) en el año 2005, Falcón /Venezuela. Se le suman posteriormente Samuel Mitchell (guitarra, bajo) Gustavo Restrepo(teclado, bajo) convirtiéndose con el tiempo en un colectivo artístico donde intervienen otros músicos y creadores de diversos géneros para los objetivos conceptuales de la banda.
El Globo Oscuro are a rock band from Venezuela who joined the Exquisite Noise roster in July of 2023. They have what we would describe as a compelling modern indie rock sound, one which is extremely catchy and compelling even if you don’t speak the language. Since this time they have released countless sublimely original products, in something of an indie rock/alternative vein, with the latest, single Doctrina, arriving in February 2026. In late 2025, meanwhile, they collaborated with author Jason McGathey for the track Happy/Sad, which appeared on our Exquisite Tales compilation.
