El Globo Oscuro are a rock band from Venezuela who joined the Exquisite Noise roster in July of 2023. They have what we would describe as a compelling modern indie rock sound, one which is extremely catchy and compelling even if you don’t speak the language. El Globo Oscuro is a Rock/Noise/Post Punk oriented project founded by Evelio Gómez (vocals, lyrics) in 2005, Falcón / Venezuela. It was later joined by Samuel Mitchell (guitar, bass) Gustavo Restrepo (keyboard, bass) becoming over time an artistic collective where other musicians and creators of various genres intervened for the conceptual objectives of the band.
At Exquisite Noise Records, we’re always fans of searching around the globe for unique, fresh new sounds, and these guys certainly fit the bill.
