As always he remains an impressive one-man-band of various talents, from writing and performing these songs himself, to recording alone in his home studio. The tracks continually exude warmth and immediacy, blending elements of folk, rock, alternative and blues into a style all his own. He describes his songs as “old friends,” and that does seem especially apt when considering his music.
