Back in 2014, we were drawn to his hypnotic tune “Welcome to the Madness,” and upon further review, decided to release a full length album of his music. Here’s what the artist himself had to say, when we recently asked for a little description of his career to this point:
“Ulisseus is a music project conceived by Odysseas Eliakis, a composer from Greece. The concept of this project is to be free of style, but neither freestyle nor style-less.
The musical outcome, as you will find out while listening to the tracks, is multimorphic – a combination of elements taken from many different genres and cultures. In 2014 Ulisseus signed with Exquisite Noise Records and the first album came out on January 2015.
The recording, mixing and mastering of the album took place in Odysseas’s studio in Thessaloniki-Greece. At the moment Odysseas is working on his new album, recording new material and composing new interesting sounds in order to achieve the desired outcome. “
While we certainly look forward to hearing some new music from him, in the meantime I’d like to take this opportunity to suggest you check out his existing material – trust us, you’ve never heard anything quite like it.
