Alex Fehr:
This multi-instrumentalist from Pennsylvania plays everything well, and has a real gift for hummable hooks! His style is somewhat reminiscent of your favorite guitar heroes from the 70s and 80s (Van Halen, Satriani) but with a distinctly modern twist. Check out his great new album now, available as a physical CD, and also as a digital download on Amazon!

In addition to his full-length album with us, Alex also contributed the track Lone Wolf to our 2015 compilation album, Urban Landscapes. Get it here: Lone Wolf

All Pain No Gain:
This Ohio one man show, Paul Linville, specializes in metal and industrial but has been known to throw left field curves with country, bluegrass, and even pop touches – though the latter is no surprise as his songs are always catchy. In 2011, he contributed a pair of tracks to our compilation album Neighborhood Classics before moving on to other projects. In more recent times he has also reclaimed the All Pain No Gain moniker such as on the excellent single below, “Don’t Be So Hard On Me.”

Alvin Choate:
Alvin started playing drums in a funk band at age 13 in Bluefield, WV. He lent his talents to a number of different bands before eventually deciding that he want to shape his own musical direction. After moving to Columbus, Ohio, in a bid to increase his recognition and fan base, Choate has begun to develop a following for his distinct solo compositions, which are often a blend of jazz, funk, blues and rock. When asked about the particulars of his sound, he said, “I am using a Yamaha keyboard to compose my tracks. I play the drums and keyboard and some bass guitar as my main instruments but the horns, violins, et cetera are courtesy of the programs on my keyboard. I use a music software called Studio One made by Presonus to record.”
Recently, Alvin released his first full length album with our label, Diamond In The Night, and he continues striving toward his goals as a writer/producer.

Ando:
This Maryland artist is one of our newest additions. His first single with us, Mirage, is one of the catchiest we’ve released in quite some time – possibly ever. Give a listen and see what you think:

Bill Kimes:
An authentic troubadour from the 1970s who continues to play out on a regular basis, Bill has been with us from basically day one and continues to amaze! With his smooth voice and tuneful acoustic picking, his sets usually consist of half originals and half well chosen covers, and are always a delight to witness. Here’s one such clip, from a “living room concert” in 2007:
Bishop Battle:
This Cincinnati artist has been with Exquisite Noise since late 2018. A one-man band of sorts, he creates modern pop compositions with an electronic edge to them, and smooth, dexterous vocals are his calling card. Daybreak, the 2nd single from Bishop Battle for Exquisite Noise Records, might be even better. Along with his trademark smooth, melodic vocals, this track features a number of electronic elements weaving in and out of the mix to hummable, danceable pop perfection.

And oh yes here’s a cool piece another blogger wrote about his single, Visceral:
Bishop Robinson/Steve Blood:
This duo has crafted a compelling, unique sound that we’re not even sure how you’d begin to categorize – all we know is that we like it. If pressed I suppose you’d have to say they play modern jazz of sorts, but with the occasional space rock transmissions from a distant planet and a whole lot of other curveballs thrown at the listener. Or something like that!

B O Ḵ Ë
This Scottish DJ has been cranking out his own idiosyncratic sounds since receiving turntables for his 13th birthday. Here’s a great article from another blog (sometimes you have to give props) explaining his journey to this point:

Brain Samson
Brain Samson is a dynamic pop/soul/r & b singer and composer who has been signed to Exquisite Noise since 2019. He also occasionally branches off into religious music which is equally heartfelt. In more recent times Samson has begun recording now and then as Love Brain, which leans more in a pop direction – but his considerable talents, as always, remain at the forefront in whatever guise.

Carl Moore Music:
A Dayton Ohio Native, Carl Moore fell in love with music at an early age. He obtained a degree in Psychology and Music, and a Master’s a degree in Entertainment Business.
Carl’s music career has taken him down multiple paths such as being a Musical Director, participating in multiple gospel recordings, and playing for music/vocal ensembles around the Ohio area.
Artists such as Musiq Soulchild, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Patricia Wilkinson, and many others influenced him to create a solo project entitled, “Somethin New”. His neyo soul style embodies songs about life and love, but most importantly positive music.
CashMon:
CashMon is a prolific Texas rapper who burst upon the scenes in 2018, releasing 7 singles in this year alone. His subject matter is diverse, and it also doesn’t hurt when currying favor with one’s label to name check them in your songs – as far as we can determine, he is the first hip-hop artist in Exquisite Noise history to do so.
CeladonCandy:
Though originally an offshoot of EDM legends Wedlock, CeladonCandy’s Paul Allgood and Jason Bowden soon instilled their “side project” with a life of its own. 2016 finds them gearing up with their latest release, Celadonia, which is basically a state of the union address for electronic music right now.

Cherry Mosaic:
A band hailing from England and skillfully merging a number of styles, as well as the limber vocals of singer Deborah Moody, Cherry Mosaic are just now returning to active duty after a decades-long absence from the scene. Following this extended hiatus, they released the single “Breakdown” in 2014 and followed that up with a full length release, Twisted Hearts, in 2015.

Clairvoyant Chasm:
Marc Levan leads this duo from the University Of South Carolina, which blend modern pop and indie elements alongside some electro flourishes.
Coreign:
This duo from Switzerland has an extensive back catalog, and we’re excited to help them break through here in the States. Though they describe themselves as a “progressive hard rock” outfit, this married couple in fact experiments with any number of styles, from rock, blues, funk to punk and everything in between. DocFell & Co:
This Oklahoma outfit offers a modern take on country which manages to combine Americana, folk and blues as well in a sound that’s truly their own. Recently they issued their first single with us, Bible Belt, and we expect much more from John Fell, Kyle Brown, and the rest of this talented ensemble.
Dope Gangs:
Dope Gangs are an international group who are just getting started. In late 2018 we released their debut single, Cold Blooded, and expect many great things from them in the years to come.
Emby Alexander:
The Enchanted Plug:
This musical duo consists of Charga the bear and moonface magic. Their sound is a combination of punk, emo, hip hop, indie rock pop and whatever else they feel. Born and raised in the deepest belly of the underworld they started their musical journey making strictly hip hop, but soon they realized that they couldn’t stick to only one genre. The group is known for their unique style , catchy melodies and lyrical abilities. Their dream is to make songs that everyone can vibe to.
In early 2019, they released a stand-alone single and perhaps their finest composition yet, Ringtones. Listen now on Apple Music: Ringtones
Filipe Ferin:
FM Creeps:
Very little is known about spooktacular four piece FM Creeps except that they hail from some backwoods town in Ohio and once faked the death of their guitarist…only to “resurrect” him about a year later, while on tour, as part of their nightly show. This is a brilliant enough gimmick in its own right, but their songs – while raw and primitive, make no bones about it – somehow get lodged inside your skull on their own merit, and you find yourself humming them for days after just one listen.
Exquisite Noise fun fact: for reasons we admittedly can’t quite figure out, the FM Creeps’s Scary Theme is our all-time #1 best selling download. Here are some other top tracks of theirs:
